although norms and conduct may differ from societies and sub-societies, we are all still very much ruled by our guts and andrea galad makes this abundantly clear. his series ‘all monsters are human’ which revisits the theme of men and monsters is rich with symbolism, augmented with his signature imaginative post-production and styling. although the notion may be to shock or intrigue the viewer, there is a definite slow melancholy that works throughout his oeuvre, evoking a sympathy and understanding where redemption is reflected as a matter of human instinct. after all the experience of hurt and harm is only too familiar to everyone and andrea’s narrative ability connects us so beautifully with the characters of that ancient tale.
