i have a lot of time for photographers who make us look. not with visual-blashemy but by surreptitiously pulling out illusionist tricks and cleverly manipulating images with a natural instinct for what our eyes see and what not. often relying on our trained minds to fill in the gaps and then only to realize what we are seeing. i believe hugh kretschmer does this kind of foxing splendidly in his portraits and ad-vertorial work…look again.
